I have unknown debt, can you please consider and remove it ?

Dear Support team !

Your services and product was very helpful and wonderful. But i am from Vietnam and my English was very bad. I just read some information from some forums at Vietnam and create a droplet on your site. Because i dont know clearly all information , i understand that just pay for Digital Ocean 5$ per month and really really don’t know what happening until today… OMG !!! over 400$ asked me to pay.

So please, please help me. I actual dont know, i just create a server FTP for scan file on Ricoh copier, you can check log file on this Droplet. Maybe my Droplet has been hacked because i received some email show that Droplet at is participating in a brute-force password dictionary attack I am not lie on you. This is a big money and very difficult to earn it.

So can you please remove the debt for me, i am very very grateful !

Looking forward to your quick response. My Droplet has IP and i had shutdown it. Thank you so much.

There is a set traffic amount included in the 5$ price of the VM(1TB). Once you passed that limit you will be billed about 10$/1TB of traffic which would mean that you’ve used up about 40TB. Well someone did but since it was you that rented the server and also failed to properly secure it then it is you that have to pay. 400$ sure is a lot for most people especially when you were expecting to pay only 5$. Where you not at least notified that your VM has exhausted the 1TB included traffic?
