How to increase disk space on DigitalOcean VPS?
I have the 20GB SSD disk in a droplet, but I want to increase this space.
For example, let’s say I have one main disk (taking Disk 01 as reference)
This Disk 01 has 20GB of SSD - I want to upgrade it to 50GB of SSD
I know I have to add BlockStorage, but after adding what I need to do?
I want to add Block Storage to it, not creating a Disk 02, leaving only 1, adding more space to the main disk because I have a platform already installed and do not want to configure the new location of the root folder and migrate the folder files.
Remembering that I am not referring to the CPU, nor Memory.
Thank you in advance, my dear ones.

When it comes to disk space, the only way to resize the main disk is to resize Disk, CPU, and RAM at the same time.
Adding Block Storage is much like adding a second disk. Since Block Storage is network level instead of hypervisor level, it can not be used to increase the main disk.
To use the Block Storage Volume, you’d need to attach it and then configure your application to use the new location.
