I’m curious about visibility of a uer’s internal traffic, is it vlan’d to your own cluster (like a VPC)? Or do neighbors exist therefore requiring SSL for any traffic that should remain private?

Hi there,

Currently individual accounts are not on separate VLANs. You can vote for the feature and follow its progress over on DigitalOcean’s UserVoice page:

https://digitalocean.uservoice.com/forums/136585-digitalocean/suggestions/3574245-vlan

So depending on the type of traffic, you may want to set up SSL encryption on the private network.
