Hi,
I’m getting an Internal Server error when trying to log in to my Django app via the admin. I’ve noticed that I get the same error when trying to access my database in another way. Hopefully, you can help with the following:

Hi there,
In most cases, the 500 error is just a generic error, and in order to get the actual problem you would need to either check your logs or enable debugging.
Here are a few things that you could try:
Accessing Detailed Logs:
settings.py. You can configure it to log errors at a more verbose level, like DEBUG, during the troubleshooting phase.Database Connection Issues:
DATABASES setting, ensuring that all parameters like HOST, PORT, USER, PASSWORD, and NAME are correct.SMTP-Based Contact Form Issue:
settings.py, especially the EMAIL_HOST, EMAIL_PORT, EMAIL_HOST_USER, EMAIL_HOST_PASSWORD, and EMAIL_USE_TLS or EMAIL_USE_SSL.Feel free to share the actual error from the error logs so that I can try to advise you further!
Best,
Bobby
I resolved the issue. I hadn’t specified the database_url :'), and I also got the test settings for the SMTP. Once I corrected both, the problems were resolved!
