Is it possible to use 7zip in my droplet?

My question is simple I wanted to extract a somename.tar.7z compressed file in my droplet but it says it run out of memory, something like that ( I have a $5/mo droplet)

Is it possible to use an alternative of p7zip-full because I really wanted .tar.7z files, they are really tiny and easy to upload from my local computer to droplet.

To use the 7zip compression format on Ubuntu, install it with:

sudo apt-get install p7zip-full

It sounds like you already got that far, but you are running into issues with running out of memory. How big are the files that you’re extracting? You’re best bet is probably to create a SWAP file, check out:
