Is the "One-Click Django application" built on top of a Docker container?

Posted on February 15, 2015

Hi,

I was wondering if the One-Click Django application could be augmented and then stored in a docker container. Basically, I want to install postgis and some extra python libraries.

Thanks

No, the Django One-Click in not built using a Docker image. This tutorial gets into the configuration details:

I’d be happy to answer anymore specific questions about the setup.

Thanks asb for you prompt response.

Is there any good reason why you stopped doing that? I believe older versions of the One-Click apps where created on top of docker. Maybe performance? having a docker container inside a KVM image might affect the droplet performance , I am just guessing

Thanks
