What is the reason for this report?

Mapping drives over private network

Hi,

Is it possible to map hard disk drives over private network? For example the database server running on one droplet with data files on other droplets or a web server on one droplet with log files in other droplets. Can the web server or database server access mapped drives on other droplets to write data or file?

It’s definitely possible. If you have private networking enabled, simply create a NFS as you normally would but use the private IPs in the configuration. Check out this tutorial for all the information on how to set it up:
