What is the reason for this report?

New Account - Stuck in Step 2 (Billing Info)

Hey there,

i have created a new account and everything goes fine, till the point where i have to add payment. i have chosen Paypal and used the 5 Dollar payment-plan. It all worked out fine and now i am in a loop at the second step (Billing Info). I have waited now over an hour and nothing changed.

Are there any known problems?

There has been problems with processing new credit cards, but it should have been resolved 2 hours ago: http://status.digitalocean.com/incidents/8yt4lllyvhg1

But it might have impacted the PayPal too in some way. It might be a problem with the verification process, which doesn’t start correctly. Please create a ticket in Support via the control panel, since the community forum cannot help with this.

thanks for your reply. i have already opened a ticket for this issue, but no response since over an hour. :-(
