systemd isn’t used by default on Ubuntu’s current release, just Fedora and Arch. Changing the init system isn’t something you should do lightly as it can potentially cause issues with your system. So if you are on Ubuntu, that’s not the way you want to go. Though you could achieve the same result with Upstart, Ubuntu’s current init system.
