Prepaid debit Mastercard not working

Posted on April 14, 2021

Dear,

I was trying to sign-up and add my prepaid debit MasterCard linked to my company but I am unable to do so.

The site correctly identifies it as a MasterCard but I always get the following error:

“We encountered an error processing your card. Please try again.”

Are pre-paid debit cards not allowed? I do not have a credit card linked to my company so this is the only option for me to sign up. I have no issues using the same card for other hosting options like Heroku.

Kind Regards, Kevin Jacobs

I have actually read the help page concerning this but failed to notice that prepaid cards are not allowed.

What a shame. This can be closed and I’ll raise a ticket to close my account as DO is of no use if it can not accept a prepaid debit card.
