I noticed, as most services, my droplet is $5/mo. Since I am testing the waters with DO (I was heavily disappointed with OVH) I would like to make sure it does not bill me next month until I come to a decision if I would like to stay with DO or not.
I checked “Billing” under my account and it says I have no history even though I have a running droplet.

Hey friend!
If at any time you destroy your droplet, you will only owe either $5 or the sum of the hourly rate for the droplet (if less than $5). We bill on the first of each month for usage in the previous month. You can read a bit more about our billing practices here:
https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/accounts/billing/
Please note that if you do not destroy your droplet, it’s charges will continue to add up. For a $5/m droplet (unless using additional services, all of which state their price as well), that amount goes up to $5/m but not above it.
