Spaces, subdomain, cname - invalid SSL

Posted on July 5, 2020

Hey there.

I’m trying to use spaces for my first time as I like the idea about using it as CDN.

However, I’m trying to point my own CDN subdomain to the DO cdn URL. I’m using Cloudflare to manage my domain and I’ve uploaded the SSL certificate to DO, but when I visit my sub domain, I just getting an SSL certificate invalid message, so I wonder what I am doing wrong?

If there is any information you need to asset me, let me know and I’ll provide it.

Thanks a lot!

Got it working now, no idea how but it’s working

I managed to fix the SSL issue (i think),

Now I’m getting this error trying to access an image I’ve uploaded to the CDN, if I use the normal url provided by DO, then I can access, but when I try thu my own cdn domain, then I get this message

<Error>
<Code>NoSuchBucket</Code>
<BucketName>cdn.domaind.tld</BucketName>
<RequestId>tx00000000000027a726b-005fGasdgb70c-1gsasdb5d7-ams3a</RequestId>
<HostId>1gsasdb5d7-ams3a-ams3</HostId>
</Error>

I’ve changed some of the text, not sure if such info should be public, but the error is as this.
