I have purchased SSL cetificate from Go Daddy for GoDaddy managed Wordpress website. It is showing https but not showing Green colored secure site. It is showing that “Your connection to this site is not fully secure.” I am not a developer and don’t know coding part. I just run a blog. Please help me to solve this. Google also showing that this site maybe hacked.

Can you share the domain you are seeing this issue with? Without reviewing the certificate warning and the certificate provided by the web server there isn’t really a way for us to narrow down what issue is preventing the green icon from being shown.

  • Thanks. I was able to identify the problem that was reported by Chrome when viewing the site. The warning indicates that some resources on your page are not using https so the page is not fully secure. Looking at the source code for your homepage I found the issue:

    <div class="sow-image-container">
    <a href="" >   <img src="" width="1280" height="853" title="The Perspective" alt="Trends Top Five"      class="so-widget-image"/>

    This seems to be the image causing the warning. As you can see, it is pulling in this image via http rather than https

Thank you for the help. I will change the widget and image.

Problem is solved, thank you so much…!!!
