Transfer domain from AWS Route53 to DigitalOcean

Posted on November 3, 2019

Hi, I’m migrating all my apps to DO, and I want to move the domain dns services too. Actually I have my domains managed by Route53, in AWS, and I like to change that to DO. I can’t find any guide about that. Anyone can help me with this. Thanks!

Hi @msassa,

There is documentation on the main DigitalOcean website where it’s shown with pictures and pretty well written steps how to manage your DNS services via DigitalOcean - HERE

Yes, prefect! So, only need to delegate my domain to DO dns servers, and then replicate the Route 53 zone configuration into the DO. Thanks!

Hi msassa, I have the same issue. How do you replicate the Route 53 zone configuration into the DO. Thanks Andreas
