Using D.O. to teaching a data management course?

Thank you for your question. We are building out many resources for educators at this time and have a variety of lesson plans, eBooks and curricula (here is one on System Administration). All of the tutorials that are available on Community can also be used as open educational resources. You may find some of what you are looking for under our Databases and Data Analysis tags. Our Product Docs can also support you in terms of data management specifically for DigitalOcean products.

For working with students, I would recommend using a Team account that you control. This would mean you can turn off Droplets and other services as the administrator, and students don’t need to input a credit card.

If I understand correctly, the answer to your question would be to sign up for DO’s newsletter so you get updates on the regular webinars (https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorial_series/webinar-series-deploying-managing-containerized-workloads-in-the-cloud) they are performing. You can also count the community tutorials (https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials) as a source of such information - a lot of educational stuff.
