I read in the App Platform pricing that DDoS protection is provided by default for all plans.
How does this work? What kind of DDoS mitigation is provided?
If I have a Rails app, what exactly happens when it receives a flood of bot traffic in a DDoS event?

App Platform protects your app using CloudFlare DDoS protection. All of the traffic that goes to your app is filtered by CloudFlare so any floods from bot traffic will be stopped.
