Just curious to know who are all evaluating and planning to move to DO? Share your experience if you are already moved!
Am seriously evaluating to move here from my existing Host(quite happe with my existing host so far) for the following reasons:
- low cost
- availability of SSD Drives and dedicated servers
- unlimited bandwidth
- free backups
- live/active snapshots without any disturbance to the servers
- nice Control Panel - (though lots of features can be added to it compared to my existing host)
Not yet sure on any issues faced by the platform, the reliability etc. Not many customer testimonials yet, not sure who else is here and happy so far. I really want to know any kind of outages faced, issues fixed and turn-around time for the support issues in fixing the problems etc from the real users.

What size droplets have the LVM hypervisor? I’d rather not have my droplets powered off.
@ekeretex all droplets have to be powered off if you want to take a snapshot of them, even if the hypervisor is LVM. Automatic backups do not power off the droplet, though.
