why is digitalocean spaces so slow to load images?

i am using digitalocean spaces to store images. i am created subdomain for spaces and enabled a default cdn. but still it is so slow to load images in my site. it takes 1.5 sec to load images

I am currently not seeing any reported problems with Spaces on the DigitalOcean status page here:

Can you please share a little bit more information regarding the issue that you are seeing like:

Which is the exact location that you’ve created your Space in?
Also, what is the exact size of the images that you are uploading?
Can you share a screenshot of your web console network tab with the problematic images load time?

In which region is the bucket located? Have you tried using different client to upload and download a file?

You can use tools like mtr or ping to measure network latency to your Space. It will give some basic information on the network to check if the connection is delayed on certain load point.

Test with files of various sizes to see if the upload speed is consistently slow across different file sizes or if it’s more pronounced with larger files. You can test upload speeds using bucket in different region to check if the behaviour follows.
