Can I create a 2nd account to receive promotions of Digital Ocean?

Currently, I am using DO’s droplet service for 3 ~ 4 months. I have received a promotion notice for a new account.
However, I already have an old account at DO. If I register a new account to receive promotions, will I violate DO policy? Will my old account be locked out, if I want to register a new account?

Because the offers are relatively attractive, but I do not want my account locked at all. Because I am a genuine user, not vandals or credit card theft to profit LOL.

Hi there @sycoi001,

As described in Section 3.6 of our Terms of Service Agreement, we do not permit the use of multiple accounts to gain additional promotions.

3.6 Subscribers are restricted from registering multiple Accounts with the same billing details without first notifying DigitalOcean of that intent. Otherwise, DigitalOcean shall have the right to automatically flag such Accounts as fraudulent or abusive, and DigitalOcean may, without notification to the Subscriber of such Account, suspend the service of such Account or any other Account used by such Subscriber. The use of referral codes by multiple Accounts having the same billing profile is not allowed. DigitalOcean also reserves the right to terminate a Subscriber’s Account if it is targeted by malicious activity from other parties.
