Question

Cannot Get Google Chrome (google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb) to download on VM

I’m trying to use selenium and python on my VM and cannot get google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb to install despite trying every potential “solution” I’ve find online.

for my case, i was using an intel processor, and trying to install amd version, i upgraded the droplet to amd processor and the unpackaging was done

I have same issue with droplet in Ubuntu 23.10 x64. is there a way without changing OS?

I had the same problem on both Ubuntu 22.04(LTS)x64 and Ubuntu 23.04 x64. It’s not about the integrity of google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb, changing the version of google software doesnot help.

It gets OK just when I change OS to Debian 10 x64, while the google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb keeps the same.
