DO Spaces is great pricing and sounds like a good AWS S3 replacement. I was wondering if it had any CDN also implemented in front of it, or if a CDN option will be available at some point? Being able to host assets on it is great, but if it does not have a Global CDN in front of it, it won’t be a great experience for all my website users. I’ll need to ensure I find a service compatible with DO Spaces to do that. Which may nullify the great pricing and ease of use :(

We now have basic CDN functionality integrated into Spaces (available in Private Beta).
We’re going to iterate and add to it based on what we learn from the beta testers.
If you’d like to try it out, email the product manager, Priya (pchakravarthi at do dot co), and let her know the email address that you use for your DO account.
Hi,
I’ve enabled CDN in a SPACES bucet, bucket but i’m unable to retrieve content with a ‘access denied’.
SPACES bucket File Permission: Private File Permission: Public
What is the issue?
Help is needed. Anyone?
Best regards, João Moreira
@satyas @aleks86dev @yevhen We just released Spaces CDN today. More details can be found here https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/spaces/how-to/enable-cdn/
I am also interested in CDN. Any updates on this topic?
@johngannon Any update on the DO Spaces CDN release? Could really do with this functionality!
Spaces currently does not support BitTorrent. If we hear a strong demand for this support we are open to considering it as part of our Spaces Roadmap.
Thanks for the reply.
“Amazon S3 supports the BitTorrent protocol so that developers can save costs when distributing content at high scale.”
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/dev/S3TorrentRetrieve.html
Does Spaces support this?
@satyas It’s still in private beta. GA is shaping up to be Q3.
@johngannon Please let us know current status of CDN feature and its tentative availability
So will it be a separate CDN service or it will be a part of Spaces that is no additional work will be needed to use CDN?
Hi John, Even though I’m GETting very little at one time (24 or so requests) I’m also getting the error: <Error> <Code>ServiceUnavailable</Code> <Message>Please reduce your request rate.</Message> <RequestId/> </Error>
It seems CDN functionality would help me. Any update on this feature?
Hi there - Spaces works as an origin behind 3rd party CDNs, and multiple CDNs have published articles on how to configure this. Here are a couple of tutorials:
