Does DO Spaces provide a CDN in front of the storage for fast global access?

DO Spaces is great pricing and sounds like a good AWS S3 replacement. I was wondering if it had any CDN also implemented in front of it, or if a CDN option will be available at some point? Being able to host assets on it is great, but if it does not have a Global CDN in front of it, it won’t be a great experience for all my website users. I’ll need to ensure I find a service compatible with DO Spaces to do that. Which may nullify the great pricing and ease of use :(

Accepted Answer

We now have basic CDN functionality integrated into Spaces (available in Private Beta).

We’re going to iterate and add to it based on what we learn from the beta testers.

If you’d like to try it out, email the product manager, Priya (pchakravarthi at do dot co), and let her know the email address that you use for your DO account.

Hi,

I’ve enabled CDN in a SPACES bucet, bucket but i’m unable to retrieve content with a ‘access denied’.

SPACES bucket File Permission: Private File Permission: Public

What is the issue?

Help is needed. Anyone?
