What is the reason for this report?

I have followed the EXACT steps YOU provided, yet it will NOT delete my account, & purge the data. This seems simple to me...

Could you please stop billing me I have followed your exact instructions…

YOUR EXACT INSTRUCTIONS…

We are sorry to see you go!

Deactivating your account is something we are unable to do on your behalf, as we do not have access.

In order to deactivate a Team you’ll need to navigate to your Team page after logging into your personal account, from the top-right corner Profile menu dropdown.

From there please follow these steps to deactivate the Team:

  1. Check the ‘Product usage charges’ in the ‘Month-to-date Summary’ section on Billing page https://cloud.digitalocean.com/account/billing to identify the active services on your account. Please be sure to destroy all active services on your account to avoid accruing further charges.

  2. Click on Billing in the left-hand navigation menu to resolve any outstanding balance.

  3. Click on Team in the left-hand navigation menu while on the team account, and then ‘Edit Team Profile’ to view the ‘Deactivate Team’ option in red letters.

  4. Navigate away from the Team account and back to your Personal account from the top-right corner Profile menu dropdown.

This will leave you only with your personal account to deactivate, which can be done by following these additional steps:

  1. Check the ‘Product usage charges’ in the 'Month-to-date Summary 'section on Billing page https://cloud.digitalocean.com/account/billing to identify the active services on your account. Please be sure to destroy all active services on your account to avoid accruing further charges.

  2. Resolve any outstanding billing: https://cloud.digitalocean.com/account/billing

  3. Visit your ‘Account Profile’ page and click the ‘Deactivate Account’ button: https://cloud.digitalocean.com/account/profile

Note: If you would like to remove your email address, credit card, and all account data, please select the ‘Purge checkbox’ that appears in the bottom of ‘Deactivate Account’ pop up window to purge these details.
