Question

Is there any option to use block storage as native volume ?

I want to run Nextcloud on droplet, but I don’t want to use ‘external storage’ it’s limit the features to work with files and very slow. Is there any option I can attach block storage poll and run it native when installing Nextcloud ?

Hi there,

I believe that this should be doable. You need to first create the Block Storage and then mount it to your Droplet as per the documentation here:

https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/volumes/how-to/mount/

After that you could proceed with the installation as you described and choose the appropriate location where you’ve mounted the volume.

Let me know how it goes. Regards, Bobby
