Need a VPS server setup to host a ReactJS app with spring boot application as the backend and MySQL as DB. Need help to install required software’s to get started as well.

This would be the best place to search for such a solution! This is mainly because you have root access to the droplets on DigiltOcean and as such you can install whatever software you want.
In regards to the software you want, let’s start with MySQL, DigitalOcean have a pretty great tutorial on how to install MySQL which you can follow here:

In regards to the ReactApp, most probably you’ll be using Nginx as a reverse proxy. As such you can follow this tutorial here:
