Hey, @AHA - or any other DO employee, I am having a problem accessing my account to fix a VPS: My VPS is down, and I’ve responded to the auto-generated email about removing 2FA with the requested photos. But so far, no response. Ticket is #03564515.
I can’t receive email on the email associated with my primary email associated with the VPS account on the ticket, as the VPS that hosts my email is down. This is why I need 2FA removed, so I can log into the web console and fix whatever’s wrong with the VPS. All my email and websites are dead in the water.
Also, as an aside, your support documentation and even the auto-generated email both talk about recovery code options and SMS options, neither of which are present any more on your login workflow. It’s email or nothing. And when the VPS hosting your email is having trouble, this is…problematic.

I still haven’t gotten action, but I set up postfix on another VPS provider, created a higher-priority MX RR for my account domain, and waited for propagation. In about 15 minutes, I was able to receive all the 2FA codes in email, and get logged into DO, start the web console, and fix my VPS.
