when I create a droplet using the ssh key and a custom image, I am able to ssh into it fine on my computer.
however, when I create a droplet with the API, I am unable to ssh into it because it will say ‘Server refused key’.

If you haven’t set the user as “root” it will try to use the user of the local PC to login.
