Question

Team Account suspended and I cannot remove it

5 years ago I got hired by a guy. He invited me to his team. He vanished, didn’t pay for a droplet. I cannot remove myself from his team. DO support is useless, asking me to get in touch with that person.

Why am I not getting any options? I cannot force that person to pay the bill. I was not responsible for that team, I didn’t create it, I never added any billing method. Yet I’m getting this dead option in the team switch.

I’m using DO for work and it’s an eyesore. I’m sure the clients I referred to DO give you enough profit to cover the $5 bill this dude didn’t pay.

Nevermind, I was able to leave using “Manage Account”. Happy this got implemented.

I was in this situation too for years too. Fortunately, there is an option now at https://cloud.digitalocean.com/account/profile (under “Your Teams”). Thanks for the heads-up @slavakhromyak.
