We’re using a very small portion of our monthly droplet transfer pool. We’re also planning on using spaces with CDN to serve media content. Since spaces bandwith billing is seperate from droplets it seems cheaper to use droplets and loadbalancers as CDN instead of spaces which is less than ideal. Is there anyway ,now or in the near future, to use spaces CDN and make use of droplet transfer pool?

Hey there,
At this time we don’t have any plans to merge the bandwidth pools. Spaces do include 1TB/mo of bandwidth that you can use without overage fees. Learn more in our Spaces product docs.
While it could be cheaper to utilize bandwidth you already have with Droplets the additional cost of spinning up Droplets in multiple regions (compared to using Spaces CDN) will be greater than some bandwidth overages on Spaces if you use more than 1TB/mo.
This is definitely a personal choice to make, so you could still decide to build out your own delivery system if that makes the most sense for your use-case!
