I see the Move Resources button at the top of the project page where my droplet is currently located. Can I move the droplet into a different project without losing any data or do I need to recreate the droplet in the other project and restore from a snapshot?

Hello,
Yes, if both the projects are in your same account, you can move the Droplets. You will need to select the Droplet from the Droplets page and hover down to the three dots (…) on the right hand corner of the Droplet line.
You should see a option “Move To”, and select the destination Project. You should be then move the desired Droplets easily. Nothing will change and no need to take Snapshot also.
