Question

How to allow connections on port 80 for DO Firewall (Not ufw)

Hi, I have enabled Digital Ocean firewall and not ufw. Now, I have set up Apache server. However, when it comes to allowing traffic on port 80, the given article mentions about ufw setup but not DO firewall. I tried searching but could not get anything. And DO suggests to have only one firewall enabled. Could anyone please suggest how can I allow traffic on Apache port 80 from DO Firewall?

Thank you!

Hello @AdityaSharma

In DO Firewall, you can select the Type as HTTP from the presets and it auto-fill the Protocol with TCP and the Port Range with HTTP’s default of port 80.

Here’s the documentation link: How to Configure DO Firewall Rules
