How to transfer root system volume /dev/vda1 to /dev/sda (LVM).

Im trying to increase my system. I use cpanel wehere I have many websites and I need more storage. I know it is not possible to merge vda and sda but it is possible to increase with LVM.

I use Centos 8.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the root partition from /dev/vda1 to /dev/sda1 there is a possibility of data corruption as both the disk have different file systems, additional volume is just like the external hard disk you attach to the system.

You can do droplet resize and increase the size of the root partition:
