Hi there!
If you’re using DigitalOcean App Platform, the easiest way to deploy your PyCharm project is by connecting a GitHub or GitLab repo. The App Platform pulls the code from there automatically.
From PyCharm, push your project to a Git repo, then in App Platform, click Create App, choose GitHub/GitLab, and follow the steps to deploy:
If you’re using a Droplet instead, you can use
scp
orrsync
from your terminal to upload the files, or set up Git on the Droplet and push your code that way:Hope that this helps!

Heya,
That depends on whether you’re planning to use the App Platform or a droplet to host your PyCharm project.
If you’re just starting, I recommend App Platform for simplicity. Once you outgrow it or need custom services, migrate to a Droplet.
