Hi,
I have a node js app deployed using Apps platform. My Nodejs app needs to ssh into a droplet to start some services. I’m using https://www.npmjs.com/package/ssh2shell for ssh. It’s working on local but I’m getting timed out error on deployed app. Seems like something is blocking it.
Any help ?

Hi there
Indeed, outbound connections over port 22 are blocked on App Platform.
But as a workaround, if you have root
access to your SSH server, you could configure your SSH service to listen on a different port (configurable in /etc/ssh/sshd_config
) and connect to it.
